- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), is seeking offers to provide Hospitalist Services for the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) located in Danville, IL. The VAIHCS has a need for three (3) full-time employee equivalent (FTEE) physicians who are board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine. Services are required Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. 8 a.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. through 8 a.m. on Monday; and 8:00 a.m. on federal holidays to 8:00 a.m. the following day. The period of performance is anticipated June 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017, with one, five-month option period through February 28, 2018, to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item, firm-fixed price contract to the Contractor whose offer conforms to all stated specifications, terms, conditions, representations, certifications, and any other information required by the solicitation, and that provides the best value to the Government considering price and non-price factors. This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Vendors must be registered and verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at www.vetbiz.gov in order to be eligible for an award. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) 561320 is $27.5 million. Limitations on Subcontracting in accordance with VAAR 852.219-10, applies to this procurement. All Contractors who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide an offer. Offers must include identified candidates who are willing to commit to fulfilling this need. Contractors are reminded to provide a complete offer as required by FAR 52.212-1 and addendum, as well as, completion of the Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items of the solicitation at FAR 52.212-3 and/or online through www.sam.gov. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice only and not a request for formal quotes. Electronic versions of the solicitation, VA69D-17-Q-0948, will be available on or around April 25, 2017, at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all solicitation amendments.
