- This is a Request for Information (RFI) announcement only. This is not a solicitation. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of current market conditions relative to NAICS 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) with a size standard of $11 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 23 on behalf of the St Cloud VA Health Care System (SCVAHCS), St Cloud, Minnesota, is seeking to identify any Veteran-Owned Small Business vendors capable of providing the services of three (3) Physician s Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) to perform Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) services. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract for a one year base, plus four one-year options. The requested services are offered under the open market and VA-managed Federal Supply Schedule contracts, Group 621 l Professional and Allied Healthcare Staffing Services. Prior to issuing a solicitation, and pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are qualified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the below services: Scope: The SCVAHCS requires contractual MOD services to eligible beneficiaries on-site at the SCVAHCS, St Cloud, Minnesota. Services include inpatient and outpatient medical care services. Inpatient care includes; all bedded programs; domiciliary, nursing home care unit, inpatient psychiatry, and mental health residential program. Outpatient services will be provided in a clinic setting or Urgent Care. The vendor will provide a PA, NP or MD/DO to cover from 4:00p.m. 8:00a.m., Monday through Friday, including Federal Holidays (24 hours), 24-hour or 48-hour weekend coverage and any other mutually agreed upon hours. This could include all, or any, shift on holidays or weekends. Services for an estimated 5,228 hours are needed annually. Respondents are not limited to SDVOSB and/or VOSB vendors. The VA is seeking to identify all potential sources, with an emphasis on SDVOSB and/or VOSB vendors. Responses to this Sources Sought must include the following information: Company Name, Address, Contact Person Name, Phone Number, Fax Number, email address(es), DUNS number and company website. Socio-Economic Status of business (example: SDVOSB, VOSB, etc.) What medical services does your company primarily provide? Are you, or have you previously provided Medical Officer of the Day PA, NP, MD or DO services to any federal treatment facility? If so, please provide contract number(s) for the previous three (3) years. Will your company enter into a joint venture or other relationship in order to provide this service? Responses to this RFI market survey must be in writing and faxed to the attention of Toni Washam at 612-333-3792 or emailed to toni.washam@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central, May 10, 2017. No solicitation document is available at this time. This RFI is to acquire information only. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have the opportunity to respond to a Request for Proposal that shall be published separately at a later date.
