Description
Questions & Answers Hand Wash Monitoring System # SOW Reference Question Answer VA256-17-Q-0399 I do not see any indication in the Statement of Work that indicates the length of the term to be quoted. Can you tell me what the requirement of for the length of the contract? The SOW will only indicate the requirement for the existing FY. Future FYs are procured with future year budgets. VA256-17-Q-0399 The Statement of Work indicates a date of May 15th for installation. Please know that if we are awarded the contract, we would need to come to the facility to do a complete walk through of the rooms that will be monitored and plan to install the monitoring devices after that step is completed. Can that date be amended? Yes, but the date in the SOW is flexible. Once the contract is awarded, vendors work with the Contracting Officer s Technical Representatives to adjust delivery dates, schedule walk-throughs and training, etc. VA256-17-Q-0399 The Price Schedule (B.2) shows a quantity of 700. The pricing we will submit will be on a per bed/per year basis as is written in the GMS Contract. The total number of monitoring devices will be determined by the number of soap and sanitizer dispensers that are currently in each of the rooms to be monitored. We do not charge by the number of devices, only by the  bed/room to be monitored. That s fine. As long as the number doesn t exceed 700. If it exceeds 700 significantly, and the estimated contract cost increases significantly, the COTR will need to obtain approval from Contracting.
