- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 2990-01-187-7168, Pipe, Exhaust. DLA Land & Maritime has drawings/specifications associated with this item and technical data is available**. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three year base period and two 1 year option periods is anticipated. FOB origin is required; inspection/acceptance at source (manufacturing facility). Technical inspection required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about the issue date of 5/3/2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees and the NAICS code is 336390. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. Total duration shall not exceed five years. Based on market research the items are manufactured for military use only and are not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for these items. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice.
