Description

In accordance with VAAR 819.7008, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a single source contract award with O.R. Elder, Inc., a Veteran Owned Small Business, for the purchase of one (1) ALCON Centurion Vision System and handpieces. This procurement is via purchase request 648-17-2-9961-0053. The anticipated award date is April 19, 2017. Per VAAR 819.202-71, It is the responsibility of each CO is make maximum use of small business source lists; Market research determined the requirement for the ALCON Centurion Vision System could be procured via a VOSB company. Per VAAR 819.7008, O.R. Elder, Inc. meets all the requirements for award, with the CO having the ability to make this determination per paragraph 819.7008(b).
