Description

Justification The 105th Airlift Wing intends to enter into a sole-source procurement action with OMAX Corporation of Kent, WA for the procurement of a Water Jet Assembly Adapter Kit. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001: Part # 312494, Assembly Adapter Kit, 9 Axis to 5 Axis. Qty: 1ea The authority cited is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to meet the requirement and objectives as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 2:00PM EST. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
