- This is not a Pre-solicitation or Solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice only. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain market knowledge of potential businesses to include large business sources, small business sources and their size classifications; HUBZone, 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business, Woman Owned Business, Veteran Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business relative to NAICS Code 561320, with a small business size standard not to exceed $20.5 million in gross annual receipts. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate determinations about potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available at this time. After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published at a later time. Description of Services: Provide on-site Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence (DV/IPV) bridge advocate (BA) services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Services will also include expertise consultation for KCVA staff on an as-needed basis when dealing with a difficult case. This will include up to 10 hours a month of direction and guidance to ensure safety for the client. In addition, the contractor will provide expertise training to the staff at KCVA along with 40 hours of initial training. Lastly, the contractor will provide marketing materials for patients, which include DV/IPV brochures and crisis cards. Contractor is responsible for providing coverage when the KC VAMC requests them to meet with Veterans experiencing domestic violence/intimate partner violence. Coverage is needed on short notice and the contractor will be asked to respond within 30 45 mins to the KCVA. Responses to this notice shall include company name, address, point of contact, contact information to include phone and e-mail address, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) and must respond to the following questions: Q1) Describe your firm s capability in meeting the needs described above.
