Description
NSN: 1670-00-714-0306, Solicitation SPE4A7-17-R-0941, PR 0067000094. This proposed Definite Quantity Contract is for the CANOPY, DECELERATION PARACHUTE. Requested quantity is 163 EA. The procurement item description cites IAW BASIC DRAWING NR 81205 25-5865, REVISION NR N DTD 09/24/2004, PART PIECE NUMBER: 25-5865-501. This procurement will be Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. This procurement is FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Government First Article Testing (FAT) (1 units). The required delivery is 180 days for the FAT with 120 day evaluation, and 500 days for the Production. The required total delivery is 800 days ARO or sooner if possible. Phased delivery is not requested but acceptable. Higher level quality is required. This is a Life Support Item therefore no surplus material will be accepted. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and Critical Application Item (CAI). A Subcontracting Plan will be required. Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) applies.
