Note: This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Part (FAR) Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 15, Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposal. This notice serves as a Sources Sought in support of market research and/or planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. This notice is not a confirmation that the Government will contract for the items or services contained in the sources sought, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. This notice does NOT constitute an Invitation to Bid, a Request for Proposal, or a Request for Quote. The Government shall not pay and/or reimburse respondents and/or associates for any costs incurred to submit the requested information. All information received in response to this sources sought that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(c), response to this sources sought is not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Ave Philadelphia, PA has a need for OR duct cleaning services. The purpose of this is to seek capable and responsible sources interested in performing this service.   Responses will assist the Government with developing its acquisition strategy to include socio-economic set-asides.   If you are interested in performing this service, please provide a brief statement of your capabilities.   Additionally, if you have an existing GSA Federal Supply Schedule (GSA FSS) contract that you believe is within scope of this effort, please provide your GSA FSS contract number.   Finally, if you believe there are ambiguities in the draft SOW, please identify them.   Note that the Government will not answer questions about this requirement at this time.   Please send your brief capability narrative and draft SOW feedback to me at Donald.Butler3@va.gov not later than 4/19/17. How do you invoice for this service include and rates. Statement of Work For Operating Room Duct Cleaning Philadelphia VA Medical Center Provide Labor and Material necessary for O.R s duct cleaning per NADCA as follow: Air Handling Units 23 and 24 supply duct air conveyance systems serving the Fifth Floor Operating areas. Duct is located in 6th floor utility. Additional access doors if needed. Approximately 2,500 linear feet of duct. AH #23 serves OR rooms 6, 7, 8, 9 and AH # 24 serves OR rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Approximately 1,100 linear feet of duct on the 5th floor is shall be cleaned on Level 2 NADCA Containment Engineering Controls. ERU-3 and ERU 4 unit and exhaust duct system and duct risers associated with Operating room exhaust duct serving Fifth Floor only. Approximately 2,200 linear feet of duct. Approximately 500 linear feet of duct (including duct risers in OR s) is in accordance with Level 2 NADCA Containment Engineering Controls. Note: Portions of this ductwork are inaccessible due to hard ceilings/walls. The contractor will remove ceiling diffusers in the O.R s and access the duct from below. All work to be performed on premium time. All work shall be scheduled and coordinated with A/C foreman at 215-823-5103. Job duration is 30 days. End
