- Description
- The Embassy of the United States in Moscow, Russian Federation has issued a solicitation for regular maintenance and repair of 44 air-conditioner installed at the Embassy residential locations. The solicitation is available on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) and on the Embassy's website at: https://ru.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/bids/. This is a firm-fixed-price contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. The contractor shall provide the U.S. Embassy Moscow with regular inspection and maintenance of 44 air-conditioner units in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications. All air-conditioner units were produced by Carrier Company in different times and have different specifications. Minor repairs will be required if detected after inspections. Emergency repairs shall also be required. The cost of emergency calls as well as the cost of expendable materials and spare parts shall be included in the total fee for maintenance and repair services. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Again, this solicitation will be issued via this website and on the Embassy's website at: https://ru.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/bids/. Note: The response and site visit dates are noted in the RFQ document. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference/site visit on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Quotations are due on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Please follow the instructions on the SF-1449 cover page and in the solicitation document itself. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.statebuy.state.gov/pd/Pages/AdditionalVendorReg.aspx Absolutely no electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
