- Statement of Work General Information: Sources Sought Notice Posted Date: 7 April 2017 Response Date: 21 April 2017 NAICS Code: 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction Set-Aside Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, Space Command, 50 CONS, 210 Falcon Parkway, Suite 2116, Schriever AFB, CO, 80912-5006, UNITED STATES Description The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever AFB has a requirement to repair the asphalt pavement on Falcon Parkway from Enoch Road to approximately 500 feet north of O'Malley Avenue (excluding the Falcon Parkway roundabout). The existing asphalt pavement in areas has deteriorated to Pavement Condition Index (PCI) OF 55 ('Poor") and must be rehabilitated to restore the asphalt pavement. Failure to rehabilitate the pavement may further degrade the pavement condition to an "Unsatisfactory" PCI. The pavement rehabilitation process includes selective removal and replacement of failed pavement, crack sealing of "minor" cracks and repair of "major" cracks and distressed areas, and a mill and pave of the overall asphalt paved area. Incidental work includes construction of new concrete cross gutters to prevent concentrated flows over asphalt pavement, construction of curbed traffic islands to improve traffic safety, new handicap ramps and signing and striping. Asphalt core samples were taken and a minimum thickness of 4 inches was encountered. Woven fabric was found at one core location on the northbound lane. The fabric was located approximately 1½" from the surface. The contractor should anticipate encountering fabric during the milling and repair process. See Attached Statement of Work (SOW) dated 8 March 2017. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business sources. The anticipated contract type will be Firm Fixed Price with a magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work to be performed under the contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction If you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies: 1.
