Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(2) entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements", intends to award a sole source contract on the basis of other than full and open competition to PointSecure Technologies, Inc., 802 Lovett Blvd.; Houston, Texas 77006, for the renewal of PointAudit Enterprise Auditor Subscription and continued maintenance support for a period of 12-months with two 12-month option periods follow-on. The uninterrupted continuance of this contract effort would continue to enable VA to assess and report on the security configurations of its Open Virtual Memory System (VMS). This information produced, for VA s National Security Operations Center Compliance Scanning Service (NSOC CSS), is provided for system owners and developers for remediation purposes to ensure systems and VA data are properly secured. It also supports scans of Open VMS based systems such as the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA). In summary, the NSOC CSS cannot perform its functions effectively and efficiently without the PointAudit Enterprise Auditor Subscription. The solicitation number for this proposed effort is VA118-17-Q-1887. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 511210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $38.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is May 5, 2017. This notification shall close on April 14, 2017, at 12:00pm (Noon) ET. This is a notification of intent, not a request for proposals.
