Description
P17PS01017 NPS Sitka National Historic Park - Installation of Utility Pole and Electricity Line Extension for Maintenance Shed SUBJECT: Sources Sought. The National Park Service (NPS) Sitka National Historical Park (SITK) has a requirement for the installation of a power pole, and electric line extension to NPS property for the purpose of providing power to 110 Metlakatla Street in Sitka Alaska. NPS, Alaska Regional Office, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price construction contract to the City and Borough of Sitka, Electric Department (DUNS # 063373831), 105 Jarvis Street, Sitka, Alaska 99835. The City and Borough of Sitka (CBS) owns and maintains all infrastructure related to the transmission and distribution of power to the city, borough, and vicinity of Sitka, Alaska. CBS to provide all materials and labor to install a power pole, overhead transformer, other equipment and supplies, and extend electrical line to NPS property. The estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. NAICS classification code: 237130 and PSC: Y1MZ. The business size standard is $36.5 million US dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Standard Daylight Time (ADT), April 18, 2017 by sending an e-mail to rebecca_graham@nps.gov; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future requirements.
