Description

Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Cleveland VA Research Department intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Koronis Biomedical Technologies, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This request for Other than Full and Open Competition is for the procurement of a new, Firm, Fixed Price contract with Koronis Biomedical Technologies for services related to the development and refinement of the SmartMAEDS wound electrotherapy system. This VA patented technology has been developed within the VA and is now moving to a TRL-4 level evaluation to be carried out over a four year project period. The VA and Koronis Biomedical have had a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place relevant to this project for the past two years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, April 13, 4:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
