- Redacted J&A NOTICE OF INTENT -- SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER MODIFICATION: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Medium Range Recovery (MRR) Product Line Division located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Raytheon Company (Cage code 06845) for the modification to upgrade current software version to APX-119 transponder on the existing Purchase Order of HSCG38-15-P-700144. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.301-1(b)(1)(ii), the sustaining engineering and technical support services for the MH60T helicopter are available from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 Employees. The small business set aside has been dissolved. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation to mrrprocurement@ uscg.mil to include HSCG38-17-Q-J00112 in the subject line which will be considered by the agency if received no later than April 13, 2017 at 12:00 PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made upon determination of fair and reasonable pricing.
