- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific (RHCO-P) intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal On-call Interventional Cardiologist services at Tripler AMC, Hawaii. This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 May 2017 through 31 October 2017 (6-month base and four one-year option periods). Required experience of the Interventional Cardiologist includes but is not limited to: (1) Doctorate Degree in Medicine or a Doctorate Degree in Osteopathy from a college accredited by an approved accrediting authority. (2) Completion an internal medicine residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and shall have successfully completed a fellowship program in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology accredited by the ACGME. (3) Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty Board Certifications in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. (4) Actively practiced as an interventional cardiologist for at least 6 months within the past 12 months prior to the commencement of services under this contract. (5) The contract physician shall have had an average annual caseload of 75 coronary interventional procedures for the last 3 years with a mortality rate less than 1% and an emergency CABG rate no greater than 1%. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% to small business concerns. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621111 and the annual size standard is $11.0M. This solicitation package will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on or about 6 April 2017. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
