- This is an amended announcement to the Space and Missile Systems Center Remote Sensing Systems Directorate (SMC/RS) Weather System Follow-On Microwave (WSF-M) acquisition. This amended announcement is for the issuance of Amendment 0002 to the Final Request for Proposal (FA8810-17-R-0004) for the WSF-M acquisition. This announcement contains the following document: Tab 1: FA8810-17-R-0004 Amendment 0002 WSF-M solicitation. Note that FBO is experiencing technical difficulties with regard to document uploads to this site. Therefore, any interested vendors may contact the POC directly to obtain the Tab 1 document. SMC/RS continues to maintain the Bidders Library of background and supporting documentation for the WSF-Program. Contact the Primary Point of Contact (POC) and carbon copy the secondary POC, listed above, to establish access to the Bidders Library and to obtain Tab 2: Revised/Added Bidder's Library documents as part of Amendment 0001. The proposal due date has been extended. Proposals must be submitted to this office no later than 25 May 2017 at 1700 Pacific Time in accordance with instructions outlined in the subject RFP. Questions in reference to this RFP must only be addressed in writing to the primary point of contact with a carbon copy to the secondary point of contact. Future questions and answers will be posted to this site as an amendment to this solicitation only if the question warrants a change to the solicitation. Sources of the questions will not be identified. Responses from small and small disadvantaged businesses are highly encouraged. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336414. The small business size standard is 1250 employees.
