- STATEMENT OF WORK STATEMENT OF WORK In 2012 and 2015, Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU), Oxford University convened a meeting of principal investigators of all population-based studies worldwide with over 100 000 participants (the Richard Doll Epidemiological Studies Consortium: see attached list). In total, the studies have recruited in excess of 10 million participants. The Consortium was founded to facilitate greater collaboration between studies, which collectively represents an important global resource on the effects of smoking and other lifestyle risk factors on premature mortality.
