Description
03 April 2017 THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOLICITATION NOTICE, IS TO ANSWER TO THE FOLLOWING RECEIVED QUESTION. 1. Question: On page 37, about documents the offeror shall include, we kindly ask you the difference between "Current Refuse Transportation Permits and authorization for all types of refuse to be picked up and disposed" and "Authorization to be capable and authorized, as per current and future Italian Laws and Regulations, to manage all CER codes listed in PWS". Answer: No difference: Contractor must prove they are authorized to pick-up and dispose all type of refuse. 2. Question: Regarding ADR regulations, is it possible to provide a self-certification by our consultants? Answer: The contractor is required to be certified in accordance with the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) regulations to be able to transport certain refuse. 3. Question: In Attachment_2_Price_Schedule, TAB C, some of the listed CER are hazardous (030104-080409-100114-100104-150110-160213-160504-160601-160602-170106-170204-170301-170303-170503-170603-170801-170903), but referred to BRC unit (where cannot be stored). Is a new or a further BRC in preparation, and in this case, will also those hazardous waste be collected? We could see only Urban/assimilated waste stored. Answer: We are not requiring the contractor to store any hazardous goods, we are requiring them to collect it and they will need to remove it from the base, not store anything that is not authorized per Italian laws or without having the proper storage facilities in place. 4. Question: Finally, we would like to know if amendments on PWS would delay, in case, the date of proposal submission, expected to be next Monday, April 3rd. Answer: Solicitation closing date remains unchanged. NOTE: ALL SOLICITATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
