- This is a Sources Sought email to determine the availability of potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Sierra Pacific Network VISN 21, is conducting market research to determine potential contractors that can provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to high speed internet service at Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care system. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 517410 with Small Business size of $32.5 million. Draft Statement of Work: The VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) intends to establish a contract to provide high speed internet access to the Western Blind Rehabilitation Center (WBRC) in Building T365 at the Menlo Park Division. Provide and install two (2) routers, each of which provides 250 Mbps download capacity and 25 Mbps upload capacity. The routers are to be capable of being operated in bridge mode, with VA provided routers providing WiFi service to VA-installed access points Routers are to be installed in Rooms A-TC1 and A-TC2 in Building 365. When the WBRC program moves to Building 500 at the Palo Alto Division (expected to occur during the initial contract year), VAPAHCS will have the option of disconnecting the service at Building T365 and connecting at Building 500 at the same price or adding the same service to Building 500 concurrently and terminating service at Building T365 at a later date. Initial activation cost, if any, for starting service at Building 500 will be included as a separate, optional line item. Contractor will be responsible for providing continuous service at data rates specified and will repair and restore any equipment and infrastructure provided by them, excluding physical damage caused by VAPAHCS or its contractors. Extend cable from appropriate existing Comcast service infrastructure adjacent to Menlo Park campus as necessary to specified location(s) in Building T365. VAPAHCS will provide external conduit path to the specified locations. If your company provides internet services, please provide the information requested below: 1. Company Name 2.
