- Solicitation VA69D-17-Q-0853 Notice of Intent to Sole Source reference FAR 6.302-1. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring the following, for the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin: One (1) Sentinel Node Mapping Device BRAND NAME (DILON TECHNOLOGIES) OR EQUAL: Salient Characteristics: One (1) DILON TECHNOLOGIES Navigator 2.0 System to include: One (1) Navigator 2.0 control unit. One (1) rolling cart. One (1) storage case for probe. One (1) 14mm wireless pilot probe. One (1) 2-bay battery charger. Two (2) lithium ion batteries. One (1) hard-copy and one (1) digital set of instruction manuals/CD. System probes shall be Sterrad NX compatible for sterilization. System shall be able to detect technetium 99, and any other commonly used isotopes used for sentinel node mapping. Shall be compatible with existing Navigator cables and probes in use. System shall capable of being mounted on a roll cart for easy transport. System shall have a customizable audible range. System shall be able to utilize wireless probes. System shall self-calibrate and require no calibration on user end before probe use. System shall have a minimum of 10 hours of continuous battery use. System shall utilize LED for data readout. System display shall show counts per second. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a purchase order to DILON TECHNOLOGIES, 12050 Jefferson Avenue S, Newport News VA 23606, as the only responsible source to provide the above items. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. However, all quotes received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
