Description

Please see the attached continuation sheet for more information on the items being acquired. ACC- Warren Installation Support Contracting Division intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the Ernie Pyle Artifact Collection, consisting of 35 prior belongings of Mr. Pyle (see continuation sheet for additional information). The collection is of historical significance because Ernie Pyle was a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist who offered firsthand accounts during World War II and was killed in Lejima. Award will be made to Mr. Don Troiani, 464 Burr Road, Southbury, CT 06488, under the authority of FAR 13.5. The NAICS for this acquisition is 712110. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes; however, the government will consider all responses received within 15 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Responses shall be submitted electronically to mark.t.wrobbel.civ@mail.mil concerning this acquisition.
