Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Carson Health Contracting Cell is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify sources for an upcoming requirement for Implantable Microsphere Embolization Particles for use in transarterial chemoembolization procedures at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso Texas. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Any requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored. Microsphere Embolization Particles, FDA Approved and indicated for use on hyper-vascular tumors: a. Comparable Sizes (300-500 µm, 2mL & 75-150 µm, 2mL). b. Preferred packaging-vial and suspended in non-pyrogenic sterile physiological buffered saline or other neutral liquid, with estimated shelf-life 12-18 months. c. Made of hydrogel or similar polyvinyl alcohol, be biocompatible, hydrophilic, non-resorbable and be precisely calibrated. d. Capable of being loaded with chemotherapeutic agents such as Adriamycin and mixed with radiographic contrast. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112-Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
