Description
PWS- Sources sought The 49 th Contracting Squadron and Joint Task Force-North (JTF-N) are currently seeking potential sources for a non-personal services contract to provide Tower Climbing Support throughout the Rio Grande Valley area of South Texas. The South Texas Climbing Support includes installation of JTF-N communication equipment at Mission Startups, Maintenance Actions, Movement Actions, Mission Changeovers, and Mission Close Outs. The work to be performed is along the Southwest Border between Mexico and the United States in the Rio Grande Valley area of the South Texas (South Padre Island, Brownsville, McAllen, Rio Grande City and as far west to the Falcon Lake Dam, Texas). The use of this notice is to provide the 49 th Contracting Squadron insight concerning the commercial availability and commercial practices of the required services described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).The 49th Contracting Squadron formally requests the submission of company capability statements in addition to pragmatic feedback in regards to the conditions described in the PWS. SUBMISSIONS: Companies responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 49th Contracting Squadron with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of Contact Name and Number -Registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) -Business Status (8(a), Small Business, Hubzone, Woman-owned, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Capabilities statement and suggestions shall be submitted via e-mail to the following: fabiola.palma-trujillo.civ@mail.mil and justin.bowers.1@us.af.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Monday, 17 April 2017. NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the 49th Contracting Squadron to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract is anticipated to be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49th Contracting Squadron to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with the South Texas Climbing support.
