- Description
- Air Force Central (AFCENT) is seeking sponsorship to providing "FUNDING", not "BIDS" for "Strongest in the AOR", at various locations in Southwest Asia. This is a perfect event to let our military men and women know you care and are thinking about them as they serve our country in a remote part of the world. This is also an opportunity to support our forces and give them that extra event to look forward to that will brighten their day. This event is open to US and coalition forces. Strongest in the AOR is a weight lifting competition that will be held at 7 different locations in Southwest Asia. Participants will compete in two categories, male and female. Participants will compete "pound for pound lifts" and will not be divided into separate body weight classes. The competitors will be ranked based on the Schwartz/ Malone formula. (The Schwartz Formula is for men and the Malone Formula is for women.) The three events each participant will compete in are: Squats, Bench Press, and Dead Lift. Participation is expected to be 20,000+. 30 short sleeve t-shirt is the only item needed to support this event, but any support will be greatly appreciated. Your sponsorship will make a huge difference to those who are serving. Sponsorship recognition CAN include company logo on event t-shirts and mention on all advertisements. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality (NAFI) of the US Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
