Description

VA69D-17-P-3129 Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring prep and pack height adjustable workstations to support the main OR, GI clinic, Dental Clinic, and other clinical RME users for the James Lovell Federal Health Care Center in Chicago, IL. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW FAR 6.302-1, Public Law (PL) 109-461, and 38 U.S.C. 8127 Vets First Program a contract to 1st American Medical Distributors 151 Heritage Park Drive Murfreesboro, TN 37129 as a responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source to provide the above-mentioned equipment. The authority issued by Public Law (PL) 109-461 requires VA to increase contracting and subcontracting opportunities for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Veteran Owned Small Business. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. All responses received by 3:00pm CST on 3/24/2017 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
