Description

The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, Western Service Area Acquisitions, is conducting a Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. (a)This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d)Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. SCOPE OF WORK: Work includes: -Upgrade the existing T12 stairwell lighting fixtures in the Control Wing, Administration Wing, and Automation Wing. -Retrofitting or repair of handrails to satisfy ADA handrail standards. -Repair of potholes where they occur in stairwells. -Installation of new interruption gate in Stairwell 1 for egress safety requirements. -Interior painting and finishing of all new work to match existing construction. See the attached DRAFT Scope of Work for details. (The Scope of work is not final and is subject to change). ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE: Firm, Fixed Price. NAICS CODE: 236220 “ Commercial and Institutional Building Construction ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: Between $50,000 and $100,000.
