- PR: 66448894 NSN: 5962-01-203-7974 ITEM: microcircuit, linear QTY: 20 EACH DELIVERY: 270 days The shipping destination will be DLA Distribution in Columbus, OH. NO quantity option is included in this solicitation. Quantity price breaks from 20 up to 30 units may be included in the solicitation Item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Natel Engineering Company, Inc. (09059) P/N 11462019 Raytheon Company (49956) P/N 11462019 Raytheon Company (05716) P/N 11462019 NSN 5962-01-203-7974 is to be procured in-accordance-with: BASIC DRAWING NR 18876 11462019. Due to the criticality of the item, procurement is restricted to sources specified on the "Source Controlled" drawing. Natel Engineering Company, Inc. (09059), Raytheon Company (49956), and Raytheon Company (05716) are currently the only known approved sources for this item. Once the solicitation is issued, DLAD 52.217-9023 - Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items will apply. NOTE: The cited drawing is a "source controlled" drawing and as of the date of this notice only the source(s) cited on the drawing have been approved. Even though sources and approved part numbers are provided, the items furnished must meet the requirements of the cited drawing. Any potential offerors who are interested in qualifying their products for purpose of future acquisitions must contact the cognizant design activity specified on the source controlled drawing. There may be additional approved sources that have not been reflected on the drawing at this time. These sources must provide documentation from the contact the cognizant design activity specified on the source controlled drawing, indicating that your company is now an "approved" source. The Purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources and for any additional approved sources. This solicitation includes the following: Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD) - This solicitation will include Procurement Note M01 - Qualified Suppliers for Federal Supply Class (FSC) 5961 Semiconductors and Hardware Devices and FSC 5962 Electronic Microcircuits. Any resultant contract will be awarded based on QSLD guidelines if applicable. Qualified Testing Suppliers List (QTSL)-FSCS 5961 and 5962. The solicitation will include Procurement Note M01 - Qualified Suppliers for Federal Supply Class (FSC) 5961 Semiconductors and Hardware Devices and FSC 5962 Electronic Microcircuits. Any resultant contract will be based on QTSL guidelines if applicable. First Article Testing is not required. DD 254 is required JCP Registration is required Inspection / Acceptance at Destination FOB Origin. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. If this acquisition is for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or has an APO/FPO ship-to address, FDT will not apply and normal procedures should be followed. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247-9059 F.o.b. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). This solicitation is an RFP and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of April 3, 2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available, and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Delivery, and Past Performance as described in the solicitation. DLAD provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA) will not be included in this solicitation. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted
