- Description
- This is an updated sources sought announcement (SSA) for parties interested in participating with the PEO MS to conduct an M-SHORAD Demonstration. This SSA updates and replaces the previously issued SSA W31P4Q-17-R-0090 in its entirety. The Demonstration will be facilitated by a bailment agreement between the United States Government (USG) and participating contractors, with each party providing components, information, and services at no cost to each other. The PEO MS is soliciting parties interested in providing an integrated solution for air defense support to the maneuver force. The solution will have a secondary mission that includes engaging ground targets in support of the maneuver force. The US Government reserves the right to terminate the bailment agreement at any time if it is determined through continued USG analysis that the solution cannot meet all requirements. The USG will not pay for information received or equipment provided by the contractor. The USG will review the availability of any contractor requested Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government-Furnished Information (GFI) that is in the US Army inventory. The USG will provide to the contractor test range time/access for the M SHORAD Demonstration, as well the resulting test analysis. The USG will use responses to this notice to form a bailment agreement with each party that meets the requirements. The USG will protect any information provided, in accordance with the document markings. Any potential release of respondents' information to other Government agencies will be coordinated with the vendor, prior to release. The USG held an Industry Day and one-on-one information exchanges on 8-9 March 2017. These activities were held in conjunction with the previously issued SSA W31P4Q-17-R-0090. The following information is available for download on Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) upon request to current Department of Defense (DoD) contractors that have an active facility clearance at the SECRET level (in accordance with limitations of ITAR and Arms Export Control Act Restrictions). Requests to access this information on FEDBIZOPPS should include the contractor's name, Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) code, and Security Management Office (SMO) code. 1.
