EMPLOYMENT AND CERTIFICATION PHYSICALS AND ANCILLARY MEDICAL SERVICES Synopsis R17PS00186: Employment and Certification Physicals and Ancillary Medical Services NAICS: 621111 - Office of Physicians, non-Mental Health, Size Standard: $11 million The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a solicitation for Employment and Certification Physicals and Ancillary Medical Support in support of Reclamation's Lower Colorado Region Health Screening and Health Maintenance Program. The objective is to obtain required physicals for certain approximately 120 positions supporting dam operations, environmental activities, and other water management positions of Reclamation's Lower Colorado Region. Physicals will be specified to meet the needs of hydropower electricians, heavy equipment mechanics, power plant operators, laborers, law enforcement personnel, divers, rope access climbers, hazardous material responders, biologists, animal handlers, and CDL drivers. Positions are located in Boulder City and Las Vegas, Nevada; Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, and Yuma, Arizona. Ancillary medical support, including immunizations will also be required. This requirement will be 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses participation. There will be no public bid opening as competitive proposals will be evaluated to obtain the best value. The award will result in a one or more six month fixed price contracts with options for two additional six month fixed price performance periods for each contract. The services to be procured are classified in the North American Industry Classification System code 621111, Office of Physicians, non-Mental Health, with a size standard of $11 million. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fedbizopps.gov) website. The extent of the work will be described in the solicitation when it is posted on or about March 2017, under Solicitation number R17PS00186. The contract award is anticipated on or about May 1, 2017, with an anticipated completion date of October 31, 2017; with the potential to continue through October 31, 2018, if both Options are exercised. All dates in this notice are estimates and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. NOTE: The Solicitation will be issued electronically, as will any amendments thereto, in accordance with FAR Subpart 4.5 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hard copies will not be provided. There will not be any printed or hard copies of the Solicitation mailed. Most public libraries have resources available to electronically access and download the Solicitation. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders list. It is therefore, the responsibility of all interested parties to periodically access the above FBO internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued and to ensure that they have the most current information. Failure to obtain any potential amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in its rejection. In addition, offerors are required to have an active record on System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov.
