- The U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou requires services to maintain building elevators in safe, reliable and efficient operating condition. The contract type is a firm fixed price contract for preventive maintenance services paid at a montly basis. The monthly rate includes all costs associated with providing elevator preventive maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer's warranty including materials, labor, insurance, overhead, profit and VAT. The contract will be for one-year period, with two one-year optional periods of performance. There are five elevators to be servered: Elevator #1, Otis, GeN2-MRL, CE-ETP-passenger elevator, 8.86KW, 1500KG, 4 stations; Elevator #2, Otis, GeN2-MRL, CE-ETP-freight elevator, 8.86KW, 1500KG, 5 stations; Elevator #3, Otis, GeN2-MRL, CE-ETP-passenger elevator, 8.86KW, 1500KG, 2 stations; Elevator #4, Otis, GeN2-MRL, CE-ETP-passenger elevator, 14.47KW, 1100KG, 3 stations; Elevator #5, Otis, GeN2-MRL, CE-ETP-passenger elevator, 14.47KW, 1100KG, 3 stations. Contractor is required to provide bi-weekly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual maintenance services; and a 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 52 weeks/year coverage for emergency trouble calls. The Contractor shall maintain in full force and affect all permits, licenses, and appointments required for the prosecution of work under this contract at no additional cost to the Government. The Contractor shall obtain these permits, licenses, and appointments in compliance with local China laws. In addition, the contractor must provide written certificates/permits issued by the elevator manufacturer to prove it has the authorization to maintain or repair the 5 elevators installed in the United States Consulate General Guangzhou compound. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (Saystem for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
