SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice for the provision of (1) BACKHOE LOADER. This is neither Request for Quote (RFQ) nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources to furnish (F.O.B. Destination within consignee s premises) (1) BACKHOE LOADER with the features outlined in the below specifications. In accordance with the eligibility requirements for SDVOSBs and VOSBs under VAAR 819.7003, at the time of submission of offer, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that has been verified for eligibility in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database located at web address: http://www/VetBiz.gov. The Contractor shall deliver the BACKHOE LOADER to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies located at 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017 within 180 days of placing an order. Cutting edge two piece HD Bucket 36 Bucket level indicator ROPS canopy Rear fenders Horn and back up alarm Lockable storage area Engine: 74.5KW, C4.4, ACERT, T4F Transmission: Four speed synchro mesh with power shuttle and neutral safety switch Torque converter The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified SDVOSBs and VOSBs with under applicable North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 333120. The Small Business Size Standard for this code is 1250 Employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use response(s) to this Sources Sought Notice. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response(s) received to this notice. Submission requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis: SDVOSB/VOSB offerors interested in submitting a quote for this project, if it is formally advertised, must be registered and be verified in the www.vip.vetbiz.gov website and must provide the correct NAICS code to include the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) number, name of the firm, address, phone and point of contact. Action Required By Interested Offerors in Response to this Sources Sought Notice: Interested Offerors shall provide a Capability Statement and/or Backhoe Loader which meets, exceeds, or is similar to one outlined above.
