Description
Solicitation Part 2 Solicitation Part 3 Solicitation Part 1 As of 3/1/17 the Proposal dute date is extended from 3/6/17 to 3/17/17 at noon Eastern Standard Time. Appendices and the Batch Control Slip were added into Section J. (See Attached Solicitation). Also, the following questions are being answered: LCLSP17R0006 - Microfilm Inventory Amendment 1 - Response to Questions 1. How many inventory workstations with PCs are available to the Contractor? Response- Currently 3. Can be increased or decreased as necessary. 2. C.3.6. The 30 steps to process the microfilm through the inventory workflow are discussed in written form, but qualified/experienced vendors will need to see the process/materials or to be provided with historical throughput in order to determine the level of effort required. LOC projects/RFPs traditionally host a vendor site tour or pre-bid meeting to view/examine materials and any system applications that the vendor is to use so vendors can physically see the actual work products. Will the Library allow individual contractor visits to examine the work areas, proximity to the vault and to visually review the work products and ILS Voyager data input application in order to arrive at realistic level of effort estimates? Response- No, the Library will not allow site visits. Vendors must develop Firm Fixed Price pricing based upon the Solicitation and Amendment 3. C.4.1. Weekly Reports (historical data). What is the average number of microfilm boxes (reels) completed on a weekly basis? Response- It solely depends on the funding available for each Fiscal Year 4. Since LOC is requesting a price per unit (reels), would the LOC give us a defined number of reels the contractor will need to inventory per year? Response- The number can be provided as approximate only as stated in Section C.2 5. What will be the procedure if a bibliographic record is not available? Response- The COR for the contract would need to be alerted and further guidance would be provided 6. Will LOC supply the colored dots, new boxes, and felt tip pens? Will the Library provide general office equipment and supplies such as print cartridges, pens, tape, and paper for printer? Response-Yes the Library will supply these materials 7. Will the contractor need to provide any additional supplies to support this contract? Response- No 8. Would the Library please confirm that the contractor will not be transporting materials from Ft. Meade or the Landover Annex to the Adams building or vault? Response- Confirmed 9. May we provide the resume as an appendix and exempt it from the page count limitation? Are the title page and the table of contents exempt from the page count limitation? Response- Yes to both questions 10. The instructions for submission are in conflict. Would the Library please clarify if we are to submit our proposal via email or upload it via FBO? Response- Proposals must be submitted on FBO.gov 11. Please provide the incumbent contractor's name and the contract number Response- Library Systems and Services/LCLSP13C0056 12. May the offeror use a 10-point, single-spaced font in tables and graphics? May the offeror use single-spaced font for resumes? Response- Yes to both questions
