- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP FLC, Norfolk, VA, intends to negotiate a single award, firm fixed price contract in support of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) for telecommunication support services at Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island and Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck, New Jersey. The services will be acquired on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 “ Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 “ Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement is a follow-on effort to contract N00189-16-P-1690, currently being performed by Verizon Business Network Services, Inc. The requirement for telecommunications services will consist of a six (6) month base period of performance that will commence on 1 April 2017 and include option provisions to incorporate two (2) twelve-month option periods thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517311, Wired Telecommunications Carriers, with a size standard of 1500 employees. A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or FEDBIZOPPS at http://www.fedbizzops.gov on or about 28 February 2017. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered is the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, during the performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack if registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual conformation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
