Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tampa, FL intends to award a sole source Fixed Price contract to a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Aviate Enterprise, 5834 Price Avenue Suite 104, McClellan, California. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for brand VARIDESK adjustable-height standing desks for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127 Veterans First Contracting Program. The anticipated date of award is March 3, 2017. The primary NAICS Code for this requirement is 337211, Wood Office Furniture, with a size standard of 1000 people. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any interested firm may submit a capability statement no later than March 2, 2017, 12:00 PM (EST) which shall be considered by the government. No telephone or facsimile request will be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
