Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to issue and award a sole source single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a performance period of two (2) years to Progressive Eldercare Services-Morrilton, Inc., DBA Brookridge Cove Rehabilitation and Care Center, 1000 Brookridge Lane, Morrilton, AR 72110, for Community Nursing Home (CNH) Services. It has been determined that soliciting from a single source is the best way to move forward with this requirement, as it will cause medical hardship on the Veterans located in the catchment area of Morrilton, AR to move them from their current existing treatment plans in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 13.5 (41 U.S.C. 1901). Soliciting from a single source would continue the level of quality of VA s critical mission in providing support to Veteran patients at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System located in Little Rock, Arkansas (CAVHCS). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement to Christopher Vu, Contracting Officer, by 4:00 PM Central Time, Monday, February 27, 2017. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the government to: christopher.vu2@va.gov.
