- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding - Bath, Maine intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 USC 3304(c)(1)) to Miller Marine of 2275 Manya St. San Diego, CA, 92154. SUPSHIP Bath has a requirement to contract for two sets of Box Patches that meet the specifications of NAVSEA document 804-5959236 and two sets of Plate Patches that meet the specifications of NAVSEA document 804-5959239. This award will be awarded with NAICS 332996. Delivery will be made to General Dynamics NASSCO, 8551 Kerns Street, Dock 32, San Diego, CA 92154. Delivery will be 70 Days ARO. This requirement is a small business set aside. No solicitations package will be issued. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability by responding. This notice is not a request for quote. All interested and capability responses must be received no later than 03/21/17 11:59pm Eastern Time. Responses received will be considered for the purpose of identifying competitive procurement, however, a determination by the Government not to compete with interested vendors is at the discretion of the Government. FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 will be utilized to evaluate technical requirements and price. Interested vendors will submit FAR 52.212-3 with its offer.
