Description

Under Statutory Authority § 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Doctors Oxygen Service INC to provide labor and materials to install-new Powerex 15 HorsePower Duplex Oil Lubricated Rotary Vane Vacuum in the Damen Building at Jesse Brown VAMC in Chicago, IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available The contract will be firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 811219. The period of performance is within one year. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service to the Contract Specialist by 4:00PM (CST) March 03, 2017. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with the WIMR. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Travis Washington at travis.washington@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
