Duties/Qualifications Cardiologist Sources Sought Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Any information provided by businesses to the Government is strictly voluntary. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested businesses responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Contact with other than 502d Contracting Squadron personnel by potential offerors or their employees regarding this notice is prohibited. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only. The Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) in San Antonio, Texas has a requirement for personal services; Cardiologist. This is a follow-on requirement for services currently being performed at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland. The contractor shall work within the Government provided facility and use Government provided equipment and perform services and support compatible with the medical facility's operating capacity and equipment. Work shall be performed in accordance with the attached draft duties/qualifications, dated 22 February 2017, and shall comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws, rules, and regulations. The 502d Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing a competitive certified small business solicitation for a firm fixed price contract with a base year plus four option years performance period. Prospective offerors shall have a current System for Award Management (SAM) registration prior to contract award. Interested businesses should respond to the questions presented within this Sources Sought Notice in order to facilitate the Government's market research efforts. The Government will analyze all responses and determine the business strategy for this acquisition. Any questions relating to this notice must be submitted in writing, via email ONLY and solely to the Points of Contact listed in this notice. The submission should address all questions in the Sources Sought questionnaire below and your firm's ability to perform the requirement.
