The Integrated Control and Monitoring System (ICMS) provides a multi-functional monitor and control panel for the Air Traffic Controller, depicting the status of each approach aid on an airport. This system allows the Controller to tell at a glance if a system is operable, not fully capable, or if it is down for maintenance. It allows controllers to focus on their control and monitoring duties rather than manually operating all the various landing system control and status panels located in the tower cab.
