- Added: <input type="hidden" name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][description][1][added_on]" value="2017-02-22 12:54:11">Feb 22, 2017 12:54 pm Modified: <input type="hidden" name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][description][1][modified_on]" value="2017-02-22 12:58:00">Feb 22, 2017 12:58 pm Track Changes Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole-source modification for operations and sustainment services for the Quadipartatite Exploitation Cell (QEC) contract awarded to Lockheed Martin. This is a three-month extension under Contract Number HM157213C0002 for the extension of services. This effort will provide the Operation& Maintenance (O&M) support for the hardware, software and on-site manning of the QEC architecture. The extension of this contract is paramount to NGA’s ability to provide for the delivery of Near Real Time (NRT) Data to a variety of sites throughout the world. The QEC contract is set to expire on 31 March 2017. The period of performance will be extended three months until QEC is retired 30 June 2017. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. There is a reasonable basis to conclude that the supplies or services are available form only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. A determination not to complete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
