Description

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Alliant SB CTA, LLC, under the authority of 41 USC 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.5. The requirement is for roughly four months of services to provide IT base knowledge management solutions and customer support services on the Joint Intelligence Operations Center at US Southern Command Headquarters located in Miami, Fl. The basis to sole source this action is to prevent a break in service and to bridge the gap between the current contract requirement and a new long term requirement which will be publicized and competed to the maximum extent practicable. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received prior to the end date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
