Description

J&A The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to place on a Sole Source basis, a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order to AERVA Inc., CAGE Code 5CGQ9, Cambridge, MA 02139-3309, for a one year renewal (and 4 additional option years) of the AerWave server/media player software licenses, including Weather widget and RS-232 Command license, and software maintenance renewals. Minimum specifications are determined by the Department of Defense and Naval Network Warfare Command ( NETWARCOM ) policies enforcing Information Assurance (IA) compliance with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Common Access Card (CAC) logon. AERVA media players went through the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) system transition process where they were scanned and found to be NMCI compliant. NETWARCOM issued a new ATO for the AERVA NERDS solution on October 30, 2014 which is valid through October 30, 2017. After 9 years of research and testing, and 5 years of operating under approved ATOs, it is determined that AERVA Inc. is the only vender that provides the required software and maintenance renewal licenses for the approved NERDS solution. This acquisition is a follow-on to N66604-P-1423 with AERVA Inc. The NAICS Code is 541511 and the size standard is $27.5M. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
