Description

The purpose of this presolicitation notice is to notify interested parties of the upcoming solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for diesel generator maintenance services for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. The period of performance is estimated to be 5/26/2017 - 5/25/2018, with two option years extending to 5/25/2020. More information will be available with the upcoming solicitation. This requirement will likely be solicited full and open competition with a HUBZone evaluation preference. The NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard is $7.5M. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 13 MARCH 2017. Please do not request solicitation documents at this time; no further information can be provided until solicitation issuance. A summary of the maintenance that will be requested is as follows: •· CATERPILLAR C15 350 KW (Quantity - 1) o 3 minor maintenances per year which will include non-intrusive verifications (eg. Clean air filters, check fluid levels, check anti-freeze, battery checks, etc.) and to include running the generator against a Shipyard provided load bank. o 1 major maintenance per year which will include non-verifications as well as replacement of fluids/filters (eg. oil change, change air filter, change fuel filter, flush coolant, etc.) and to include running the generator against a Shipyard provided load bank. •· CUMMINS DMT300C 300KW (Quantity - 2) o 3 minor maintenances per year which will include non-intrusive verifications. (eg. Clean air filters, check fluid levels, check anti-freeze, battery checks, etc.) o 1 major maintenance per year which will include verifications as well as some added work (eg. oil change, change air filter, change fuel filter, flush coolant, etc.) •· CATERPILLAR SR-4 300KW (Quantity - 1) o 3 minor maintenances per year which will include non-intrusive verifications. (eg. Clean air filters, check fluid levels, check anti-freeze, battery checks, etc.) o 1 major maintenance per year which will include verifications as well as some added work (eg. oil change, change air filter, change fuel filter, flush coolant, etc.) •· DETROIT 71237000 250KW (Quantity - 1) o 3 minor maintenances per year which will include non-intrusive verifications. (eg. Clean air filters, check fluid levels, check anti-freeze, battery checks, etc.) o 1 major maintenance per year which will include verifications as well as some added work (eg. oil change, change air filter, change fuel filter, flush coolant, etc.) •· CATERPILLAR 3512C 1500 kW (Quantity - 2) o Services required at intervals of every six (6) months or greater in accordance the applicable Diesel Engine and Generator Set Operations and Maintenance Manual(s), for example clean air filters, fluid levels verification, anti-freeze verification, battery checks, etc. o Annual maintenance conducted in accordance the applicable Diesel Engine and Generator Set Operations and Maintenance Manual(s), for example clean air filters, fluid levels verification, anti-freeze verification, battery checks, etc. •· CUMMINS QST30 Series Engine 900 kW (Quantity - 6) o Services required at intervals of every six (6) months or greater in accordance the applicable Diesel Engine and Generator Set Operations and Maintenance Manual(s), for example clean air filters, fluid levels verification, anti-freeze verification, battery checks, etc. o Annual maintenance conducted in accordance the applicable Diesel Engine and Generator Set Operations and Maintenance Manual(s), for example clean air filters, fluid levels verification, anti-freeze verification, battery checks, etc.
