- AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION. This is an amendment to a previously synopsized requirement issued for the purpose of providing interested parties questions/answers to assist in the preparation of quotes. Quotes are due at 4:00pm PT on Monday, March 6, 2017. The Q &A is as follows: QUESTION 1: What kind of diesel do you need? Red or Clear? ANSWER 1: The NPS needs Clear Diesel. ATTACHMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. All attachments can be accessed via the link below to FedConnect, or by going directly to the FedConnect website at https://www.fedconnect.net. Once at the FedConnect home page, click "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, under Search Criteria, change the drop-down menu selection to read "Reference Number," then type in solicitation number P17PS00573 and click "search." Next screen, click the underlined text that is the title of the solicitation, shown as "(YOSE) Supply and Deliver #2 Diesel." Next screen is the overview screen. On the right-hand side, is the list of documents posted, showing the SF-18 solicitation form and all attachments. The attachments must be opened individually, and can be downloaded and saved or printed. Besides the SF-18 solicitation form, there are three attachments: Attachment 01 (FAR Provisions 52.212-3 Form) and Attachment 02 (Experience and Past Performance), and Attachment 03 (Map). DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park, located in Mariposa County, California, has a requirement for supplying and delivering 7,000 gallons of #2 Diesel. Approximately 2,000 gallons will be delivered to Chinquapin and 5,000 gallons will be delivered to Tioga Road. Deliveries will be made at two separate locations in the park and must be coordinated in accordance with the Scope of Work (Section C of RFQ). Deliveries will be made between April 4, 2017 through May 31, 2017. The Government intends to award a single, fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following non-price factors shall be used to evaluate offers, and are listed in order of descending importance: price, technical capability and past performance. Evaluation factors other than price, when combined, are approximately equal to price. QUOTES ARE DUE AT 4:00 P.M. PACIFIC TIME (PT) ON MONDAY, MARCH 6, 2017. THIS SYNOPSIS PAGE CONTAINS ONLY A PARTIAL AMOUNT OF INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SOLICITATION. The Standard Form 18 together with all the three attachments (as listed above), make a complete solicitation package.
