Description

The Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command, Contracting Department, San Diego CA, 92155 intends to award a contract to Federal Resources Supply Company to procure 500 cases of Micropore, ExtendAir CO2 Absorbent Cartridges (PN: SM-0505C). This canister has been approved for use with the MK-25 UBA currently being used by WARCOM. Federal Resources is the sole distributor of the ExtendAir canisters. The equipment will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339920 - Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing. The size standard is 750 employees. As stated above, the contract will be sole sourced to Federal Resources, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by 23 Feb 2017, which shall be considered by the agency.
