- Solicitation Document FEBRUARY 22, 2017 - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking price proposals to provide drydock services and repairs for Corps of Engineers floating plant vessels as described in the attached Solicitation document. Vessels are currently moored at the Corps of Engineers vessel yard, and they will be transported to and from the successful contractor's shipyard by the Government. The estimated cost of this acquisition, including options, is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded based on the total cost to the Government, including drydock services plus the Government's transportation costs to and from the selected drydock facility. Specific requirements, price schedules, clauses, forms, and proposal instructions are included in the attached Solicitation document. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing. The successful offeror must be registered in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) with this NAICS Code prior to and as a condition for award of any contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business. The small business size standard for this NAICS Code is 1,250 employees. Offers are due no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 9, 2017. Offers are to be submitted via email to the two addresses indicated in the INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS section of the Solicitation document. Questions may be addressed to the Government's Primary Point of Contact as identified below. This announcement is the one and only advertisement for this requirement. Interested parties should read the attached Solicitation document and respond via email, as directed and using the forms and format indicated therein.
