- This notice is issued by the 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan as a Sources Sought notice (SS) to solicit responses from interested parties. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. This NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment byt he Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessment. No awards will be issued as a result of this SS. The 18th Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses on or otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of the Sources Sought, the 18th Contracting Squadron may issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; however, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 18th Contracting Squadron shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought or the 18th Contracting squadron's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified businesses that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The 18th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified businesses to complete the following: - Multiple adjustable munitions inspection table with adjustable shelving, viewable tablet holders, and grounding points. - For more information, see the attached design.
