- The purpose of this amendment is to revise the Government's Essential Features as following: 1. Multichannel electrode made from a wire material that is non-toxic to cerebrum tissue with small diameter 0.005" or less containing polymide or other insulation. 2. One ground wire extending from connectors length from 50mm - 150mm. 3. One exposed reference wire, with varying length 2mm - 8mm extending from recording wires within the electrode array. 4. Ground and reference wires attached to MRI Compatible, non ferro-magnetic material connector contacts with corresponding number of pins to electrode channels. 5. All required multichannel electrode wires, in quantities 129, 257, 513 wires, shall be retrofitted into a tube ranging from 35mm-85mm in length that is non-toxic to cerebrum tissue in which all electrode wires extending beyond the tip of the tube in a predetermined length per order specifications. All other terms and provisions remain unchanged.
