Description
Amendment 1 to solicitation to clarify/change class schedule only for two courses, to 8 hours per day every other day for 10 consecutive days. See Statement of Work Clause for details. Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for Fire Department Incident Safety Officer training per NFPA1521. This will be two (2) simultaneous courses 8 hours per day every other day (to accomodate 24hr on/24hr off shifts) for 10 consecutive business days equals 40 hour each course; total 80 hours for both training courses, onsite at Camp Lejeune. Example: Team A will begin on Monday Day 1, followed by Team B on Tuesday for Day 1. Team A Day 2 on Wednesday, and Team B Day 2 on Thursday, until each course completes 5 full days every other day. (See Solicitation attachment for complete Statement of Work details). Training space provided, for 30 Students, 15 per class. The Government's intention is to issue a firm fixed price contract based on North American Industry Classification (NAICS code) 611519. This is full and open competition solicitation. The Government will solicit (M67001-17-Q-1062) and award this contract using FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The Government intends to award the quoter who represents the lowest cost technically acceptable offer to the Government. Lowest Cost, and Technically Acceptable will be determined by review of quoters' responses to the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Inventory, Receipt and Property Transfer (iRAPT) at https://wawf.eb.mil/xhtml/unauth/home/login.xhtml.
